Comfortable Cities
Visual identity for an exhibition exploring how to plan better spaces for the City of London and its visitors.
A modelling tool developed by the City of London Corporation allows planners to analyse different elements such as air quality, solar shading, wind and ‘thermal comfort’; and to use the findings to create better public spaces.
Taking inspiration from the colourful shapes of heat maps as well as the work of artist Gerhard Richter, I aimed at balancing the complex subject matter of the exhibition with a visual identity that is approachable, playful and ‘pop’.
